This magnificent haberdashery held an overwhelming collection of trims, ribbons, buttons and clasps and many other things besides in every colour, shape and size.
The Opera House
The classical Opera House in central Paris
The Gallerie Lafayette
The stunning ceiling, with its opulent colours and structural detail.
The Subway
I loved the 1960's simplicity of the design on these subway seats.
Bon Marche
I loved the grid network of the tiles on the escalators and ceiling.
They have been warped to follow the lines of the structure. The new collection Pacific Coast has been an excellent colour inspiration for my own collection.
Chartier

The Louvre
A few snaps from in side the wonderful exhibitions
The Louve - Pyramid
The intricate structural feet of engineering has proved a huge inspiration to my wanting to design engineered knitted structures.
The Pompidou Centre - Jeff Koon Exhibition
The view of Paris form the top of the Pompidou Centre. Koon's use of colour and negative spaces in his work showed me different way colour could be used.
The Notre Dame
This magnificent building never ceases to amaze me with every visit.
The Eiffel Tower
Although raining the tower still made an impressive figure against the
steely-grey backdrop
The Gare de Nord
I liked the simple angular space within the train station
